Meet our Founder

Maddy Michielssen is a Central Florida native with a passion for helping students achieve their true educational potential.

In 2019, Maddy graduated from the University of Florida and felt called to pursue tutoring. She had seen a need for educational advocates for students beyond the walls of a classroom.

Maddy began Beyond the Classroom Tutoring to aid students in their pursuit of reaching and exceeding their educational goals.

In the past three years, Maddy has assisted over 45 families across Florida. She takes great pride in her students. She believes in them and takes a unique approach in working dilligently with each family to match them with the appropriate tutor and ensuring the method of tutoring aligns with the student's learning style.

Who are we?

Beyond the Classroom is a full service tutoring company catering to students Pre-K through 12th grade.

Currently we offer tutoring in all school subjects (all math, english, science courses), SAT/ACT/GED prep, reading/ELA, writing, and even Spanish.

We offer in-person and zoom sessions 7 days per week to meet your student's needs!

We tailor each tutoring session specifically to your student's learning style and preferences. Each session is strategically planned to make most efficient use of our time together.
